best of the 2005 NWSS
This was the best of the days of the 3 in 2005. Really a high-energy show from out of the gates. The rain was a little bit of a buzz-kill, but it isn't so audible on these recordings.
Notes
Notes:
Darol Anger on fiddle entire show, ~= Dino Zimmerman on guitar, != Shawn Camp on guitar and vocals, @= Larry Keel on guitar, #=Andy Thorne on banjo, $=Mark Shimmock on mandolin and bass, %= Vince Herman on mandolin and vocals, ^= Danny Barnes on banjo and vocals, *= everyone above (minus Dino) plus Bruce Lish, Enion Pelta, Dave Tiller, Jenny Keel, Amiee Curl, Nathan Moore, Blackdog
There is some rain noise throughout the set from the rain hitting the umbrella above the microphones, especially around the start of "northern song." That is not digi-noise.
